REFUNDS POLICY
(Effective: October 9, 2025. Last updated: November 18, 2025)


All dates and times in this policy refer to Pacific Time. This policy is issued by Kent Qi Gong and Reiki Family.

I. SCOPE
This policy governs Kent Qi Gong and Reiki Family appointments, private lessons, in person classes, workshops, events, retreats, subscriptions, digital materials, and related services.

II. HOW TO GET HELP
Please begin with the contact form on our website. We aim to reply within two business days. Purchases made through Squarespace must be handled through Squarespace’s own cancellation and refund tools and timelines; where Squarespace controls, its processes determine the speed and method of any refund. If you need direct assistance, you may reach us at Kent@KentQiGong.com or by phone at (480)993-2178. Once a refund is approved, we initiate it within five business days. Card issuers and banks may take additional time to show funds on your statement.

III. APPOINTMENTS AND PRIVATE LESSONS
You may cancel or reschedule up to twenty-four hours before the scheduled start time and receive a full refund or a complimentary reschedule. With less than twenty-four hours’ notice, no refund or credit is available. Missed appointments, also referred to as no shows, are not eligible for refunds or credits. If you arrive late, we offer a five minute grace period when the schedule allows. Otherwise, the session concludes at the scheduled end time and the full fee applies. Bookings are personal and not transferable. We do not permit gifting of appointments or lessons.

IV. IN PERSON CLASSES
This section applies to in person group classes, including classes held at third party venues such as Center for Spiritual Living Olympia.

  1. Tickets, dates, and gifting.
    Each ticket is valid for the specific class date and time shown at checkout. You may purchase a ticket for yourself or as a gift for a friend or family member. Please provide the attendee’s name at checkout if you know it. The purchaser is responsible for sharing class details and this policy with any guest they register. By attending, the guest agrees to this policy.

  2. Cancellations by you.
    You may cancel up to twenty-four hours before the scheduled class start time and receive a full refund. With less than twenty-four hours’ notice, no refund or credit is available. Missed classes, also referred to as no shows, are not eligible for refunds or credits. If you cannot attend, you may request that your ticket be transferred to another person for the same class. We will usually approve reasonable transfer requests received at least four hours before class, subject to space and safety considerations.

  3. Late arrivals.
    To respect the group setting, we ask that you arrive a few minutes early. Late arrivals may be asked to enter quietly or wait for a natural pause. The class will end at the scheduled time and the full fee applies regardless of arrival time.

  4. Cancellations or changes by us or the venue.
    If we or the host venue cancel a class, you may elect a full refund or a credit toward a future class of equal value. If a class is rescheduled, you may either attend the new date or request a refund.

  5. Courtesy credits and transfers.
    We understand that life can bring illness, family emergencies, and unexpected events. In situations that fall outside the standard timelines above, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a one time credit toward a future class or allow a transfer to another attendee. These courtesy accommodations are not guaranteed and may be limited per person.

  6. Health and safety.
    By attending, you agree to listen to your body, move within a comfortable range, and modify or rest as needed. If you have health concerns, you agree to consult a licensed medical or mental health provider before participating.

V. WORKSHOPS, EVENTS, AND RETREATS
Sales are refundable within seven days prior to the published start date. Cancellations with less notice are handled at our discretion. Tickets are personal and not transferable. Gifting is not permitted.

VI. SUBSCRIPTIONS
You may cancel at any time. A risk free period applies for fourteen days from the initial purchase. If you cancel within fourteen days of the initial purchase, you will receive a full refund. After fourteen days, access continues through the end of the current billing period and partial periods are not refunded. Please turn off auto renew in your account settings to prevent future charges. If a free trial is offered, cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Where Squarespace controls subscription billing, Squarespace timelines and tool limitations govern refund speed and method, as well as the obligation to pay through the term after the fourteen day period.

VII. DIGITAL COURSES AND DOWNLOADS
Digital course and download purchases include a fourteen day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a refund within fourteen days of purchase. Upon approval of a refund, digital access is revoked. For technical issues, contact us and we will restore access.

VIII. CANCELLATION BY US
If we cancel a session, workshop, event, or retreat, you may elect a full refund or a credit.

IX. FORCE MAJEURE
Force majeure events include severe weather, wildfire smoke, utility or platform outages, illness, and other circumstances beyond reasonable control. In such circumstances, fees remain in place. We will make a good faith effort to reschedule as soon as practicable.

X. ACCESSIBILITY AND ACCOMMODATIONS
We welcome accommodation requests within reason and within our role. If a request exceeds our capacity, we will present available options.

XI. CLIENTS UNDER 18
Clients under eighteen must have a parent or guardian book the service and participate as appropriate. Identification and consent may be requested. We may decline services that are not age appropriate.

XII. PAYMENTS THROUGH OTHER PLATFORMS
Some offerings are sold through third party platforms. If there is any conflict, Squarespace’s tools and timelines control for purchases made through Squarespace.

XIII. GOVERNING LAW AND UPDATES
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Washington. We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on our website is the controlling version.

XIV. AGREEMENT
By booking, purchasing, or accessing services, you agree to this policy and to the use of Pacific Time for all time-based references.

XV. LEGAL PROVISIONS
Severability. If any provision of this policy is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. The invalid term will be applied to the narrowest extent permitted by law.
No waiver. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or of any other provision.
Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
Prevailing version. If versions differ, the version published on our website at the time of booking controls for that booking.
Pricing and currency; errors. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing or typographical errors.


Right to refuse or discontinue services. We may refuse or discontinue services to any person whose conduct is unlawful, unsafe, disruptive, or violates these policies.
